8 Color Dry Offset Printing Machine

The Hyden M-8400M Signature Series Dry Offset Printing Machine is the most advanced press designed for high-quality decoration of disposable plastic containers. This industrial machine delivers vivid multi-color printing with excellent reproduction of complex graphics including vignettes and half-tones.

The press is equipped with water-cooled ink rollers that maintain optimal ink viscosity during high-speed production. Dual form rollers ensure precise ink transfer to the printing plates, while accurate adjustment of form roller and plate cylinder pressures enables fine tuning for superior print quality.

Ink flow is electronically adjustable through the machine control system and the ink ducts include automatic agitation systems for consistent ink delivery throughout production.

The print cylinders incorporate a precision Pin-Bar mounting system which enables “first-time make-ready”. This significantly reduces plate mounting time and simplifies color registration, allowing complex print jobs to be set up quickly and accurately.

Automatic ink-head wash-up allows rapid color changes while a Video Punching unit ensures accurate plate punching based on registration marks for precise alignment.

The machine also features On-The-Fly Registration (Running Register), allowing operators to adjust print registration while the press is running without stopping production.

Cup-to-blanket pressure is electronically controlled using a single-axis servo-driven slide with mandrel position memory. This enables quick engagement and disengagement of the mandrel with automatic return to the preset printing position.

A logic-controlled stack buffer automatically feeds stacks of containers into the press. A servo-driven auto-loader separates stacks and feeds cups onto synchronized printing mandrels that rotate along with the blanket drum.

During UV curing, mandrel rotation is continuously monitored by the control system which alerts the operator if any mandrel fails to rotate correctly. Safety features such as No-Cup No-Print and Double-Cup Shut-Down ensure reliable and safe operation.

The compact UV-OMC curing system instantly cures printed containers while automatically blocking UV radiation when the system is in standby mode.

After printing and curing, the automated re-stacking system counts and stacks printed containers in pre-defined quantities before transferring them to the collection tray for packaging.

The HYDEN M-8400M is powered by the TESLA Controls 8400 ServoCAT control system, which manages all press and auxiliary operations with precision.

Individual control of the print drum, indexing unit, and feeding system simplifies machine setup and make-ready operations. During production all units operate in perfect synchronization to deliver consistent high-speed performance.
